The latest must-visit hidden gem: a lush forest tunnel for stunning photos

Tunnel attractions of all kinds across Taiwan have recently sparked a pilgrimage craze. The depth of field created by forests and flower fields has drawn many tourists and photography enthusiasts to capture the scenery, gradually bringing long-overlooked hidden beauty spots into the spotlight. Located along San] Road in Waipu, Taichung, visitors can not only admire vast expanses of lush green farmland but also discover a short stretch of shaded pathway formed by towering trees. Sunlight filters through the straight, tall trunks and upward-reaching emerald foliage, transforming this less-than-100-meter path into a magical forest tunnel. Within the woods, local farmers have also set up benches for visitors to rest in the shade, offering relief from the heat and a chance to breathe in the forest’s phytoncides. However, visitors are reminded not to litter and to help maintain the beauty of the site.
