May’s tung blossom season is in full swing, with "May snow" falling across Taiwan and the mountains covered in pristine white blooms, creating a stunningly beautiful scene. Miaoli is one of the key spots for the Hakka Tung Blossom Festival, including places like Nanzhuang, Shitan, Tongluo, and Sanwan Township. Just by looking up, you can enjoy the sight of flowers bursting into bloom, while the ground is blanketed in fallen petals, like walking on a floral path—truly poetic. Below are aerial shots and photography of three tung blossom trails in Miaoli: the Shuangfengshan Cihui Temple Mountain Trail and Sky Bridge in Tongluo Township, and the Shenjiao Mountain Tung Blossom Trail in Sanwan Township. Each location is covered in snow-like blossoms, making them some of the best spots to admire the tung flowers.

Sky Bridge

The Tongluo Township Sky Bridge is a rare high-altitude cycling trail and an excellent spot to view tung blossoms. Along the way, you can overlook tea plantations and the ancient Salt-Carrying Trail, enjoying expansive views and even the visual treat of sunsets.
