Besides the New Year’s Eve fireworks, another annual must-see event in Australia — the Sydney Light Festival (Vivid Sydney) — takes place from May 26 to June 17, running for 23 days. In addition to projections on the Sydney Opera House — Australia’s most iconic landmark — numerous other famous structures such as the Harbour Bridge will also host spectacular light shows. These are accompanied by music and audiovisual projections, transforming the entire city into a canvas of light, dazzling, romantic, and brimming with creative beauty that leaves visitors amazed and thoroughly entertained.

The Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge are both gorgeously transformed, while the General Post Office at Martin Place is also illuminated with vibrant light projections. The entire city becomes dreamy, dynamic, and full of creative charm. Nearly all of Sydney’s major historic sites and attractions turn into canvases of nighttime light art, attracting people of all ages to interact with the sound and light installations and take plenty of photos.
