Singapore Airlines Celebrates 50th Anniversary: Adults Can Win Air Tickets, Kids Can Dress Up as Flight Attendants

To celebrate Singapore Airlines’ 50th anniversary in Taiwan, the airline held the “A Great Way to Fly Travel Carnival” at Taipei Main Station from March 31 to April 3. In addition to offering discounted fares to popular destinations, the event invited Singapore Airlines flight attendants to meet the public for photo opportunities. There were also child-sized Singapore Airlines cabin crew uniforms for kids to dress up in, looking adorable. Additionally, there were multicultural performance stages and a variety of attractive travel packages jointly launched by travel agencies and Singapore Airlines for visitors to explore.

From March 31 to April 3, Singapore Airlines held the “A Great Way to Fly Travel Carnival” on the first floor of Taipei Main Station. Visitors could join the lucky draw by taking a photo with a Singapore Airlines cabin crew member at the event or snapping a photo at any exhibition area and uploading it online. Winners could receive a round-trip economy class ticket from Taipei to Singapore. Children could try on child-sized Singapore Airlines cabin crew uniforms and take photos with the flight attendants. Registration was available on-site daily starting at 11:00 AM, with limited spots per session and availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Children between 100 cm and 140 cm tall are welcome to come and fulfill their little flight attendant dreams.

KrisFlyer members of Singapore Airlines’ loyalty program could redeem exclusive gifts at the event. Both existing members and those who joined at the event were eligible for additional lucky draw opportunities, with a chance to win 5,000 KrisFlyer miles. Singapore Airlines also offered special discounted fares for popular destinations, with flights departing from Taiwan between April 10, 2017, and September 30, 2017: starting from NT$7,888 to Singapore, NT$21,818 to Europe, NT$26,958 to the Maldives, NT$21,978 to Sri Lanka, and NT$20,968 to Australia.
