The Hakka Roundhouse cultural and architectural attraction in the high-speed rail park is great for photos both day and night

The Hakka Roundhouse is located near the Miaoli HSR Station,
its architectural design is modeled after traditional roundhouses from the Hakka homeland on the mainland,
giving it an authentic Hakka feel.
There is a circular path around the pond nearby,
where you can take unique photos as you walk around.

From a distance,

the whole building has a lot of charm and character.

It doesn’t seem like you can get a good reflection shot today,

the water ripples are a bit too strong.

Most visitors walk around the building to check out the surroundings..

Actually, most of the visitors are from tour groups.

The museum also features exhibits introducing “Traditional Hakka Residential Architecture,”

where you can learn about the architectural styles of the Hakka people through individual models and text descriptions.

These include courtyard houses, roundhouses, square houses, five-phoenix houses, and walled dragon houses.
