Sunflowers bloom brilliantly after the rain — enjoy free flower viewing at Yangguang Farm

The recent heavy rains have significantly affected flower conditions across Taiwan, preventing visitors from seeing blooms at their best. However, the sun-loving sunflowers remain undeterred by wind and rain, blooming with enthusiasm. Yangguang Farm, a free flower viewing spot in Taoyuan, posted the latest flower condition photos on the 6th. The vast sunflower fields were not severely impacted by the heavy rain and burst into full bloom after the rain cleared, lifting everyone’s spirits.

Covering 18,000 pyeong, Yangguang Farm is the largest sunflower-themed farm in northern Taiwan. It was established by a young graduate from Pingtung University of Science and Technology’s Department of Horticultural Production Technology. Driven by a passion for horticulture and the land, he founded Yangguang Farm to produce sunflower cut flowers and realize his dream. Currently in peak bloom season, the flowers are expected to last until October, and the farm offers free admission. In addition to expansive seasonal flower fields, the farm also features a wood-fired oven area, outdoor learning activities, DIY fun, souvenirs, and a themed restaurant.
