Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Universiade go on sale

Yang Jing-tang, spokesperson for the Universiade, stated that tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies as well as for the competitions will all go on sale at 12:00 noon on June 13. Those who wish to attend can purchase them through the official Universiade ticketing website or at the three major convenience store ticketing kiosks (7-ELEVEN ibon, FamilyMart Life-ET, and OK Mart OK 'Go).

Regarding the ticket prices, which are of great concern to the public, opening ceremony tickets range from NT$800 to NT$3,500, while closing ceremony tickets range from NT$500 to NT$2,000. Tickets priced at NT$800 for the opening and NT$500 for the closing make up about 80% of the total, aiming to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the world-class performances. As for competition tickets, they are priced at NT$200 and NT$300, and are sold as single-day passes. With one ticket, spectators can watch all the matches of a particular sport at a single venue for the whole day. The organizers encourage everyone to come and cheer on the talented athletes representing 150 countries.
