Japanese TIROL-CHOCO’s Taiwanese-style chocolates blend the flavors of two beloved Taiwanese foods—“pineapple cake” and “bubble tea”—and feature distinctly Taiwanese packaging. They were such a hit in Japanese convenience stores that they briefly sold out, making it difficult for travelers visiting Japan to get their hands on them.

Riding the wave of this Taiwanese trend, the snacks have made their way back to Taiwan. They’re now available at 7-11 for NT$59 per pack, which includes three bubble tea-flavored chocolates and four pineapple cake-flavored ones.
