When director Paul Currie heard this captivating and suspenseful story, he actively pursued it and brought the script to the big screen. Dylan (played by Michael Ealy) is the chief air traffic controller at New York’s JFK Airport. His job is to ensure all flights take off and land smoothly. One afternoon at 2:22, strange phenomena occur in the sky, and he suddenly experiences déjà vu-like memory flashes that nearly cause two planes to collide, resulting in his suspension for a month.

By chance, Dylan falls in love with the beautiful Sara (played by Teresa Palmer), who works at an art gallery. But from that day on, Dylan repeatedly dreams of a major shooting incident that occurred at New York’s train station at 2:22.
Dylan also discovers that he keeps encountering the same people and things at the same times every day. Time seems to control their fates, and he must break the established patterns and rules to save his own life and the life of the woman he loves.
