Fisherman's Wharf Original Music Festival: A New Romantic Scenic Spot

As the liveliest summer arrives, New Taipei City by the sea boasts naturally blessed waterfront views, with internationally renowned attractions such as Tamsui-Bali and Fulong Beach. This summer vacation will be even more exciting. For the first time, the left bank of the Tamsui River will be decorated with LED lights from July 1 to August 31, transforming the existing landscape into the romantic "Lights on the Riverbank" in Bali. Experience the touching moment where the summer night breeze meets the romantic lighting along the waterfront. As it coincides with the Qixi Valentine’s period, it’s perfect for strolling hand-in-hand with your loved one along the romantic left bank, enjoying a unique Bali vibe.

In addition, New Taipei City has created an outdoor original music base at Fisherman's Wharf—Fisherman's Stage. Making a strong comeback this year with last year’s praise and audience anticipation, it will once again ignite Tamsui this summer. From July 8 to August 20, every Saturday and Sunday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM, over 24 independent bands and original singers will take the stage, touted as Taiwan’s most beautiful outdoor performance venue, delivering passionate and spectacular shows.

Besides coming to Fisherman's Wharf to enjoy exciting indie music performances, you can also explore the diverse and rich tourist attractions around Tamsui, making it a top choice for a one-day trip in the Greater Taipei area. This year, the YouBike stations at Fisherman's Wharf have been completed. Visitors planning to attend the Fisherman's Stage are encouraged to ride a YouBike to leisurely explore Tamsui. You can visit the historic Tamsui Old Street, Little White House, and Tamsui Red House Fort, as well as the culturally enriching Cloud Gate Theatre and the Japanese-style Tatsumura Eikichi Residence. Chase the sea breeze to the Lover’s Bridge at Fisherman's Wharf to capture breathtaking ocean views and Taiwan’s most beautiful sunset, and then unwind at Fisherman's Stage with the evening breeze, grilled fish, beer, and music—singing and dancing along to an enthusiastic and unrestrained musical feast, experiencing a brand-new side of Tamsui.
