This year’s festival features exciting activities such as nature and ecology experiences, traditional fishing village life, live music performances, and recreational sports. In addition to continuing popular events from previous years, a variety of new and diverse activities have been introduced, including five main themes: "Foodie Paradise," "Rural Tourism," and "Soaring Over Qigu." From the Qigu Guanhai Tower, you can take in the panoramic view of o_Lake, where vast sandbars and salt pans seem to showcase the passage of time. Fixed fishing nets and oyster racks form the most distinctive sights of o_Lake, while the area teems with diverse aquatic resources like fish, shrimp, crabs, oysters, and red snapper. Climbing up the seawall also reveals the spectacular zigzag-shaped oyster farms.

The Qigu Seafood Festival offers a wide variety of activities, made richer and more vibrant through the participation of local communities, homestays, restaurants, and the Taiwan Salt Museum. With its exceptional natural resources and status as an important wetland for migratory bird conservation, Qigu allows visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the area through the festival.

The highlight of this year’s event is the four "Digging for Clams and Washing Pants" activities held at Liukong Pier. The photography tour for "Soaring Over Qigu" will be led by local expert Teacher Tseng Chin-liang. The local government is also actively promoting "Rural Tourism" in line with municipal policies, and the "Travel Information Station" allows visitors to freely select from 77 attractions in Qigu, with travel experts crafting unique, customized itineraries for you.

Additionally, to promote Qigu’s rich agricultural and seafood specialties and market the region’s fresh "Qigu Seven Treasures" (milkfish, mullet, tilapia, grouper, white shrimp, blood clams, and oysters), the Qigu District Office has partnered with local restaurants and the Taiwan Salt Museum on "Foodie Paradise." This includes a Father’s Day-exclusive "Qigu Seven Treasures Seafood Banquet," a "Qigu Buffet Feast," "Chef-Prepared Meals," and "50-dollar Copper Coin Snacks" tailored for budget-conscious visitors. There’s also a lively "Seafood Market" offering exciting promotions, inviting everyone to sample Qigu’s unique delicacies.

To allow more people to deeply explore Qigu, multiple themed itineraries under "Rural Tourism" have been planned, targeting families, students, and couples. The "Group Up and Go Qigu" package includes half-day, one-day, and two-day tours. The "Themed Amusement Park" features hands-on overnight-dried salt mountain experiences. The "Travel Information Station" offers tailor-made itineraries curated by Qigu travel experts.
