The famous Japanese illustration character “Capybara-kun,” an animal living on green grasslands, is usually fond of eating grass, sleeping, and soaking in hot springs. On June 23, Capybara-kun opened in advance of summer vacation at Lihpao Land in Taichung, becoming Taiwan’s first Capybara-kun Dream Italian Restaurant. Additionally, the Capybara-kun Dreamland exhibition also opened alongside the restaurant.

Moomin CafeMoomin Themed Restaurant
 
The Moomin Cafe, a Moomin-themed restaurant originating from the fairy-tale tales of Finland and highly popular in Japan, officially entered Taiwan in Taipei in July 2017.
