Colorful Flower Sea & Sand Sculptures – Zinnia Sea of Flowers
Located next to the Fuli Township Farmers' Association, aside from admiring sand sculptures, visitors can also enjoy the blooming zinnias. A sea of colorful, therapeutic little flowers covers the entire green field, creating a spectacular and vibrant landscape. Zinnias are heat-resistant flowers, typically blooming from June to October. Aside from Hualien, visitors can also enjoy a colorful sea of zinnias in Taoyuan.

Earth Granary – Fuli Railway Station
The nearly century-old Fuli Railway Station in Hualien’s Fuli Township was reconstructed in 2016 as part of the overall service improvement plan for the Hualien-Taitung railway line, transforming into a distinctive building full of design aesthetics. Recently, Fuli Railway Station was awarded the Silver Prize in the “Transportation and Infrastructure Projects” category at the 2017 Hong Kong Institute of Architects’ Architectural Design Awards for Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Given that Fuli is famed for producing rice highly regarded in Japan, the station’s design draws inspiration from an “earth granary,” blending the station environment seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, giving it the distant appearance of a miniature rice silo.
