Korea’s newly developed attraction, the “Seoullo 7017” Sky Garden walkway, has sparked widespread discussion, drawing large numbers of travelers eager to explore this elevated beauty since its opening. The name of the 7017 Sky Garden walkway carries significant historical meaning—the numbers “70” and “17” represent two different eras. The Korean government revitalized this old elevated highway built in 1970, transforming it in 2017 into a pedestrian sky garden walkway.

Recently, the 7017 Sky Garden walkway was also chosen as a filming location for the popular Korean drama “Fight for My Way,” becoming the first K-drama to be filmed here since its opening. The Korean government also appointed popular Hallyu star Song Joong-ki as the tourism ambassador, generating even more buzz around the new walkway.

The most unique aspect of the 7017 Sky Garden walkway is that it allows visitors to enjoy Seoul from a completely different perspective. From the 17-meter-high bridge, landmarks such as N Seoul Tower on Namsan Mountain can be viewed unobstructed. The walkway also connects to 17 routes, including Hoehyeon Station near Namdaemun Market, the Namsan Skyway, and Seoul Station Plaza, allowing visitors to reach major attractions near Seoul Station within 20 minutes.

In addition, the nighttime scenery is truly breathtaking—blue lighting covers the entire walkway, complementing the flow of pedestrians and the arrangement of flower beds, creating a magical charm in the evening.
