Sunflower blossoms shine as brightly as the sun, symbolizing cheerful and joyful hearts. At Huilan Bay Happy Farm in Ji’an Township, Hualien, over ten thousand sunflowers have been planted across a 4-hectare area within the farm’s 45-hectare grounds, attracting numerous visitors daily to take photos and admire the flowers. Huilan Bay first opened its sunflowers for free picking in February this year to great acclaim, and half a year later, it has announced that on July 22, it will once again open its gates, inviting visitors to enjoy and pick the flowers, taking home 30,000 sunflowers for free.

30,000 sunflowers stand proudly, radiating happiness and hope. In addition to the classic yellow sunflowers, this time there are also red, orange, and yellow-green varieties. After the first free picking event in February, many visitors used the sunflowers they brought home as decorations for restaurants and houses, adding warm summer hues. Many netizens also took photos with the flowers by the coast, where the beautiful scenery paired with the radiant blooms created a delightful and enchanting atmosphere.
