Weekend sees two typhoons approaching with differing international forecasts

As summer arrives, the peak season for frequent typhoons begins. Currently, there are two tropical disturbances near the Philippines. One of them is expected to develop into Typhoon Nesat (No. 9) as early as the 25th, while Typhoon Haitang (No. 10) may also follow, forming soon. The Central Weather Bureau stated that currently, strong airflow exists on both the eastern and western sides of the Philippines and will likely organize into a low-pressure system in the coming days. According to analysis by the U.S. model, after the formation of Typhoons No. 9 and No. 10, they could potentially strike Taiwan around the 29th, differing from the models of Taiwan, Europe, and Japan. Currently, the structure of the tropical disturbances near the Philippines is relatively weak and may not necessarily develop into typhoons. Even if they affect Taiwan, the impact may not be severe.

Since the typhoons are still far away and the timeline is distant, current typhoon simulations carry higher uncertainty and will need to be adjusted once the situation becomes clearer.
