Yilan boasts the beautiful coastline of eastern Taiwan and vast pastoral landscapes, which has led to the continuous opening of unique and scenic homestays. Nestled amidst the fields of Dongshan Township, there stands a stylish homestay as elegant as an art gallery — “T2 Homestay.” Its irregular exterior resembles a boutique museum, standing out strikingly against the golden hues of summer and lush green rice paddies. Moreover, its most distinctive feature is that the homestay is built above an ecological pond, giving the impression of a building floating on water. It has even been a filming location for idol dramas, commercials, and magazines.

T2 Homestay was planned and managed by three close sisters. The interior features high ceilings and open spaces, with a restrained color palette and simple, understated lines that exude a fashionable and minimalist vibe. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow abundant natural light, making the living area bright even during the day without turning on the lights.
