Couples always look for fun, photogenic places to go for outings in spring—not only to enjoy sweet moments together but also to create lasting memories and footprints. If you want to deepen your relationship, why not take your partner on this must-photograph dating route?

1.Tateno Yoshikatsu’s Former Residence

Tateno Yoshikatsu’s Former Residence is located halfway up Pu Ding Hill, facing south with its back to the hill and front edged by a steep retaining wall. The high-elevation site offers a view of the Tamsui River and the graceful Guanyin Mountain. Constructed with hinoki wood, its exterior rain-shedding boards, black-tiled roof, and interior flat-beam ceilings have withstood the test of time. As one of the earlier residences in Tamsui influenced by Japanese design, it is now a municipal historic site of New Taipei City.

2.The Little White House

The Little White House was once the official residence of the former Tamsui Customs tax officer. With a history of over a hundred years, its name comes from the striking white Western-style architecture. A must-see at the Little White House is the neatly arranged “semicircular arches.” When sunlight hits, the white building looks even more pristine and elegant. This minimalist Spanish-style chalky corridor structure is a favorite among photographers and a top choice for wedding photos. The overall building, based in white with an orange roof, shines brightly against the blue sky, and the arched corridor design adds even more romance to the Little White House.
