Taiwan’s only orchid church – Angel Garden – is pure white, elegant, and incredibly romantic

Angel Garden is Taiwan’s first leisure farm themed around tropical orchids. To showcase the beauty of orchids, the park has specially built a white orchid church adorned with vibrant tropical blooms, making visitors feel as if they’re in Europe. Angel Garden offers dining, DIY activities, and guided tours, and with its lakeside buffet, it’s become a popular outdoor wedding venue in southern Taiwan.

Angel Garden was formerly known as Zhutian’s Phalaenopsis Station, but is now Taiwan’s first tropical orchid-themed farm. “Sunlight, air, and water” are all that plants need to thrive, and the orchids at Angel Garden are not grown in soil pots but soil-free, with their roots hanging directly in mid-air. Yellow, red, and purple flowers create a dazzling display across the garden. Taiwan, located in the subtropics, has the sunlight and humidity ideal for growing various types of orchids, and Taiwanese orchids have earned an international reputation in the global flower export market.

The romantic orchid church in the park attracts large numbers of visitors. The pure white space is decorated with floral ornaments, where guests can enjoy meals or afternoon tea, or hold an unforgettable outdoor wedding. In addition to flower viewing, the park also offers DIY experiences, where visitors can sign up for courses such as a day in the life of a flower farmer or DIY bouquet making. After taking romantic photos in the garden, you can even buy an orchid plant to take home.
