In the movie *Life of Pi*, you can enjoy many stunning seascapes and special effects that are truly mind-blowing. Penghu offers Taiwan’s first-ever nighttime fluorescent SUP (stand-up paddling), gently gliding over the tranquil waters of Penghu Bay under the moonlight. When the fluorescent SUP lights up with bright LEDs beneath the surface, you can see fish gathering around, instantly transforming the sea into a beautiful canvas—as if you’ve stepped into a scene from *Life of Pi*. It’s a rare and unforgettable night-time paddling experience.

The fluorescent SUP concept was created by the owner of “Floating Denainai SUP Surf Shop,” inspired by the fluorescent SUP experiences he saw abroad. He worked with manufacturers to develop boards equipped with color-changing LED tubes. As you paddle on the water, the colors beneath the surface change accordingly. During the summer, it attracts many tourists looking to try this unique activity.
