Summer-exclusive top-tier scenic homestay with endless stretches of blue and gold

Endless golden rice fields stretch right up to the vast, boundless blue sea. Wake up to such breathtaking views during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves and under a blanket of stars at night — it’s an idyllic moment of pure bliss. The homestay “ShiTidi Bay 118,” located in Fengbin, Hualien, stands amidst the ever-changing landscape of the Port Tribe. Nestled between rolling mountains and the sea, it exudes a sense of serene seclusion.

The homestay was co-created by its artist-owner and rising architect Chen Guanhua. Its design concept originates from “simple living,” conveying the philosophy that less is more and emptiness is fullness. By stripping away excessive decoration and packaging, it truly returns to the essence and original form of a house, insisting on naturally blending with the surrounding landscape and leaving the starring role entirely to the flow of nature.
