Limited online tickets for Alishan Forest Railway Deep Travel now open for registration

The Taiwan Railways Administration recently announced the "Forest Railway Deep Travel" cruise-style train itinerary, which will be held in four sessions with a total limited quota of 400 participants. Each trip costs NT$950 and tickets can be booked online, making it a top choice for railway enthusiasts. Not only will it take passengers on a leisurely tour of unique small stations along the forest railway, but also allow them to watch the train spiral up the mountain, visit the oldest old-fashioned grocery store, and explore Taiwan’s only bat ecological education center.

Taiwan Railways stated that the "Forest Railway Deep Travel" cruise-style train will take passengers on an in-depth tour of the rise and fall of classic stations, watch the train spiral up the mountain, and catch a glimpse of the Alishan Forest Railway’s unique mountain-climbing architectural techniques, which have the potential to become a World Heritage site. It’s a highly worthwhile experience.

The forest railway cruise-style train will be held in four sessions, scheduled for September 6, 13, 20, and 27. Each session has a limit of 100 participants. Children under 6 years old who do not occupy a seat may ride for free, but will not receive souvenirs. The itinerary adopts a reservation-based ticketing system.
