First Look at the Nighttime Test Lighting of the Taiping Cloud Ladder – Taiwan’s Longest “Smiling” Sky Ladder

The “Taiping Cloud Ladder,” the country’s longest single-span scenic suspension bridge, which opened on September 23, not only offers breathtaking views of the Yunlin–Chiayi hills and plains during the day but also presents a dazzling night scene and enchanting lighting after dark. Recently, the Taiping Cloud Ladder has been conducting nighttime test lightings, with beautiful lights adorning the entire bridge. Its graceful arch resembles a smiling sky ladder at night, complemented by the twinkling night scenery of the Chiayi Plain, earning high praise from many visitors.

Situated at an altitude of 1,100 meters and stretching 281 meters in length, the main structure of the Taiping Cloud Ladder has now been completed. The bridge and its cables have been equipped with LED lights, which are currently undergoing testing. Entry will require a ticket, and there will be a daily limit on the number of visitors. In addition, guided tours and interpreters will be available to introduce the Taiping Cloud Ladder and its surrounding scenery to visitors.
