New Taipei City’s Gongliao District boasts some of Taiwan’s most stunning coastal scenery, including uniquely eroded rocks shaped by sea winds and magnificent seascapes. Located in Ma’ao Bay, FULIAN Elementary School is less than a 5-minute drive from the San Diego Cape Lighthouse. Here, facing the vast ocean view, there is a natural seawater swimming pool — a paradise for swimming and snorkeling.

FULIAN Elementary School is the easternmost and lowest-altitude school in all of Taiwan, giving it the feel of an offshore island like Orchid Island or Green Island. Thanks to its crystal-clear waters, it has become a snorkeling haven for many, with the natural seawater pool outside the school serving as the perfect practice spot for beginners.

Next to the school playground stands a Rainbow Staircase, which stands out vividly against the expansive blue sky, white clouds, and ocean — making it one of the most beautiful elementary schools in Taiwan.
