Established in Japan in 2007, niko and... is a popular Japanese lifestyle brand with over 100 stores across the country. Its first flagship store in Taiwan is confirmed to open in October 2017 in Taipei’s East District, located at the Zhongxiao-Dunhua triangular site (formerly home to a well-known luxury watch flagship store). In recent years, many businesses in the East District have closed due to the high rents and the shift of foot traffic to Xinyi District, making it increasingly difficult to do business there. The arrival of this renowned Japanese lifestyle brand is undoubtedly big news for the East District.

The name "niko" stands for “Nobody I Know Own Style,” symbolizing that everyone has their own unique style, which no one else can truly know—encouraging people to use their imagination to create their own personal style. The “and...” in the brand name represents a variety of extended possibilities such as clothing, lifestyle goods, coffee, music, books, and plants. As a result, the store offers a wide range of products, including a café space where shoppers can take a break.

niko and... in Taiwan is operated by Point Enterprises Co., Ltd., which also manages well-known Japanese fashion brands such as LOWRYS FARM. This marks the brand’s first standalone store launch in Taiwan, offering a diverse range of products from apparel and accessories to lifestyle goods, home décor, and even a café, meeting Taiwanese consumers’ needs. Fans of Japanese lifestyle products now have another brand to explore without needing to fly to Japan.
