Step into the clouds！Kaohsiung’s first Gangshan Eye Sky Corridor to open at year-end

Kaohsiung is about to get a new attraction！The “Gangshan Eye” park in Gangshan District, a new tourism landmark, features a sky corridor themed around music. On the 14th, a topping-out ceremony for the main tower’s capital was held, symbolizing that the most important structural part of the Gangshan Eye park has been completed. The corridor is 88 meters long and 40 meters high, with a 12-meter glass surface on the bridge deck — a truly spectacular sight. It is expected to be completed in October, and the entire park will open before the end of the year.

The walkway corridor is built with an eccentric suspension design, hanging the steel structure walkway halfway up in the air. As visitors stroll along the sky corridor, they can experience the sensation of walking amidst the clouds. Not only can you overlook dozens of hectares of the Agongdian Reservoir, but you can also gaze far toward Kaohsiung, and even spot landmarks such as the Port of Kaohsiung 30 kilometers away and the 85 Sky Tower in full view.

The sky corridor of the Gangshan Eye park is designed with a music theme. The main tower is connected to the sky corridor by 24 cables symbolizing piano strings, as if playing a vibrant chapter of life belonging to Little Gangshan. As visitors walk along the corridor, they can enjoy the feeling of strolling among the clouds. In the future, in addition to enjoying the scenery, the Gangshan Eye park will also feature rest areas and recreational zones, becoming Kaohsiung’s newest top tourist destination.
