On Saturday the 13th, due to the influence of the cold wave and radiative cooling, temperatures remain low, resulting in dry and cold weather. After noon, the cold wave weakens and temperatures gradually rise. There is a large day-night temperature difference in the western half of the country. Most areas across Taiwan, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with only scattered brief showers in Yilan and the northern mountainous areas.

Temperatures rebound on the 14th, rising by an average of 3–4°C compared to Saturday. In northern areas north of Miaoli, temperatures range between 12–20°C, with large differences between morning and evening; the lowest temperature in Miaoli could reach 9°C.

Temperatures in central regions range between 10–21°C, with even greater day-night differences—be careful with warm clothing. Southern regions see temperatures between 14–20°C, Yilan between 12–20°C, and Hualien and Taitung between 14–22°C. Aside from possible brief showers in Yilan, the entire island will enjoy sunny to mostly cloudy weather on Sunday—ideal for travel, though warm, windproof clothing is still advised.
