Xiluo Grand Theater

The Xiluo Grand Theater, formerly known as Xiluo Theater or the Old Playhouse, features a Baroque-style exterior and was located next to the bustling Dong Market of its time. It flourished especially during the 1960s and 1970s, earning the nickname “Xiluo’s Shinjuku.” Having witnessed the changes of the times, its interior and exterior both carry a unique charm. Please be mindful of safety due to the age of the building!

Chenglong Community Center
 

The interior is covered with colorful mosaic tile collages, interspersed with many photos from Chenglong Village’s past, turning the space into a kaleidoscope full of collective memories. Gukeng’s Pink Castle

Pink Castle originated from the estate owner’s love for his wife. It was specially built as a pink castle to fulfill her princess dream. In addition to the fairytale-like pink structure, the park is dotted with straight stands of bald cypress trees, and there's also the Shuiyang Forest Chapel made of water glass walls that are super photogenic. Hutou Iron Bridge
The Hutou Sugar Factory Iron Bridge is a designated historic site in Yunlin County. Originally built to support the development of the sugar factory, it evolved from a bamboo structure to a wooden bridge, and was later reconstructed into the current Hutou Iron Bridge. Designed with three sections of steel truss girders at varying heights and ten large hollow arch bridge piers, its hollow, open design makes for a very striking photo op.
 

Houwei Iron Bridge
 
The Houwei Sugar Factory Iron Bridge is a designated historic site in Yunlin County. Originally built to support the development of the sugar factory, it evolved from a bamboo structure to a wooden bridge, and was eventually reconstructed into the current Houwei Iron Bridge seen today. Designed with three sections of steel trusses at varying heights and featuring ten large hollow arch piers, the bridge offers a striking, airy visual impact that makes for an impressive photo spot.
