Taipei Marriott Hotel’s GMT French-Italian Restaurant, the iconic British porcelain brand Wedgwood, and afternoon tea expert Jennifer have joined forces to host an essential course on British afternoon tea etiquette and a series of themed activities. The event features the “Wild Strawberry Collection” fine bone china tableware from Wedgwood, serving the “Wild Strawberry Colorful Afternoon Tea” meticulously prepared by GMT and the Pastry Boutique. Savory items incorporate France’s premium fleur de sel sea salt and truffles, including smoked salmon sandwiches and fresh vegetable truffle tarts with fleur de sel. Desserts include classic French treats such as macarons, canelés, strawberry mille-feuille, and scones. Guests can not only learn authentic afternoon tea etiquette but also enjoy delicious treats in a relaxing afternoon setting. Courses in April are scheduled for April 12, April 21, and April 30, each priced at NT$2,750. Marriott members enjoy a discounted rate of NT$2,500 per session.
