A Romantic and Cozy Camping Experience — The Women-Only Campervan “Un”

In many countries, two girls holding hands on the street might draw strange looks, but in Korea, it’s totally natural for girls to walk arm-in-arm or hold hands with their best friends. Likewise, it’s rare to see just two guys traveling together in Jeju, but it’s common to spot two girls exploring as a pair. Here's a place we recommend for girl groups — a quiet art village where you can create romantic memories.

Campervans might seem like a rough and not-so-“hygienic” way to camp, and with no guys around, how could girls camp safely? Isn’t it dangerous? These thoughts might make you shake your head. But once you hear the story behind the women-only campervan “Un,” your perspective might change.

Behind a stone wall, you can gaze at the serene sea of Hanbando — a view that seems to frame the heartfelt friendships that blossom here. This space is actually the couple’s own home, so you’ll feel completely at ease. It’s hard to describe the cozy atmosphere with words alone. You can relax here without worry, enjoying the warm orange hues inside. Beyond the campervan, there’s also a peaceful open-air space. Here, you can enjoy the breeze and admire the starry night sky. And most of all, it’s rare to find such a clean and peaceful resting spot.

Step inside the campervan, and you’ll find a compact bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator, dining table, and beds — truly equipped with everything you need. Inside the van, there’s a dining area where you can cook your meals, and between the campervan and the hosts’ home, there’s a cute cafe and lounge space. It includes a desk, dining table, small sofas, books, colored pencils, a coffee machine, and a sound system. The owners of the “Un” campervan are a copywriter and illustrator who work in advertising — so when it comes to design, they’re definitely the best choice. The female owner, drawing on her experience illustrating copy for ad campaigns, even draws portrait sketches for guests as souvenirs. In the morning, a Kinfolk-style brunch is served. Girls can sip coffee and enjoy a leisurely brunch.
