Count down to the global New Year's party for 26 hours of unlimited rides with Minions

2017 will soon be coming to a close, and many travelers have already started planning their New Year's trips. This year, Universal Studios Japan is offering the special “Universal New Year’s Party 2018” event, starting at 7:00 PM on December 31 and continuing until 2:00 AM on January 1, 2018. In addition to a grand fireworks show and performances on the outdoor stage, the event will also feature amazing light and sound effects as well as a celebration show with the Minions.

In addition, Universal Studios will stay open all night from 7:00 PM on December 31 to 9:00 PM on January 1, allowing visitors to ring in the new year with the Minions as the year comes to a close. Tickets are now officially available for pre-order. This year’s New Year’s celebration also includes special events, featuring unlimited rides for 26 hours on popular attractions such as the Minion Mayhem ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Hollywood Dream – The Ride, and Spider-Man: The Ride 4K3D.

Please note that entry to the Universal New Year’s Party is only permitted for guests who have purchased a “Party Admission Ticket.” Those not attending the Universal New Year’s Party 2018 can still enter the park using regular admission tickets starting at 2:00 AM on January 1, 2018, and enjoy the night until dawn, welcoming the first sunrise of the new year at Universal Studios.
