A 4-meter-tall giraffe appears as a new animal art landmark in a bustling urban district

Located in the midst of a busy urban area, many forest-themed animals have suddenly emerged, and even a 4-meter-tall giraffe stands leisurely inside and outside a department store, which is quite surprising. This is the forest world created by Taiwanese linear sculptor N? Shengtong, using lines to interpret the vibrant energy of the forest. Various animals can be seen in the streets, buildings, and squares, creating a surprising and charming urban jungle experience.

Following the previous wave of giant popsicle and other fruit-themed installation art, this autumn spatial exhibition focuses on a forest-themed animal world, connecting Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department stores in northern, central, and southern Taiwan, giving visitors the feeling of being in an urban jungle.

The animal world was created by linear artists from “Linear House” of Tainan’s Blue Print, who used over 2.5 tons of iron to craft 19 pieces including giraffes, ostriches, turtles, sika deer, antelopes, penguins, and sea lions. The most eye-catching are the 400-centimeter-tall giraffe and the 250-jin (125 kg) musk ox. Despite their large size, they exude an adorable charm.
