The Hello Kitty conductor’s pineapple cake Mid-Autumn gift box sparks a craze

Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) has carefully curated the “New Taroko Hello Kitty Conductor Pineapple Cake Gift Box” series to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. The products went on sale on September 23, with a limit of one per person per type—fans of Hello Kitty definitely shouldn’t miss out!

The 3-piece pack comes in a tin box, with round pineapple cakes placed inside a tin box featuring the design of the Taroko train, symbolizing the image of overseas children taking the train home for reunion during the Mid-Autumn Festival. After eating the cakes, the tin box can still be conveniently reused—delicious and pleasing to the eye. Priced at NT$180, the first batch is limited to 326 sets.
 
For gifting convenience, there’s also a gift box version: the 6-piece pack features a pink bow handle that is very delicate and adorable, priced at NT$280, with the first batch limited to 190 sets. The 10-piece pack has an outer box decorated with a cute Taroko train design, priced at NT$460, with the first batch limited to 58 sets.
