The lush, narrow riverbank lined with vibrant pink flower seas creates an illusion of being in a famous Japanese flower-viewing spot. Located in Beitou Riverfront Park in Changhua, both sides of the riverbank are planted with beauty trees, which burst into pink blooms every autumn. The vast expanse of vivid flower seas resembles cherry blossoms in full bloom, giving the false impression that spring has suddenly arrived.

When in bloom, beauty trees present a magnificent sight with their abundant and vibrant flowers. Due to their purplish-red or light pink hues, they are also known as "beauty sakura." The flowering season typically occurs from autumn to early winter, with northern Taiwan seeing blooms earlier. Each tree can produce 5,000 to 6,000 flowers, making them a premium choice for ornamental street trees and garden landscaping, highly valued for their aesthetic appeal.
