In addition to specifying that the final day of operation for Restaurant ANDRE will be February 14, 2018 (coincidentally Valentine’s Day), he also stated that his restaurant should be excluded from future Michelin Guide announcements. Although Michelin will soon begin releasing guides for Taiwan and Bangkok, Andre Chiang made it clear that he will no longer participate in the annual Michelin Guide selection process.
