Aside from enjoying the romantic maple leaves, Seoul’s annual Purple Fountain Grass Festival is also a must-see floral event. The 16th Seoul Purple Fountain Grass Festival will take place from Friday, October 13 to Thursday, October 19, at Sky Park within World Cup Park. This year’s festival also features string lights set up in the purple fountain grass fields, using vibrant illumination to create beautiful landscapes such as a galaxy tunnel.

During the Purple Fountain Grass Festival, visitors to Sky Park can enjoy the boundless sea of grass. By day, they can admire the spectacular silver-white waves of flowers, and by night, the dazzling illuminated flower fields allow guests to fully take in the Seoul nightlife. In addition, there are hands-on activities such as creative crafts using natural materials and shuttlecock kicking, as well as cultural events including concerts and film screenings. During the festival period, Sky Park’s opening hours are extended until 10 PM.
