Taipei City Children’s Amusement Park, Science Education Museum, and Planetarium Launch Bundle Tickets for an Exciting Winter Break

Taipei City Children’s New Amusement Park has teamed up with the Science Education Museum and the Taipei Astronomical Museum to launch the “Happy New Year Fun at Three Museums” bundle ticket during the winter vacation. The tickets will be on sale from the 25th of this month until February 20th. For just NT$200, the bundle allows entry to all three venues — equivalent to a 70% discount. Additionally, the Children’s New Amusement Park will hold the “Creative Coloring, Spin & Win, Snack Pets FUN Winter Vacation” event from the 13th of this month to February 10th, where elementary school students in grades 1–6 can participate in coloring activities for free and have a chance to win online popularity draws and capsule toy prizes.

The Children’s New Amusement Park stated that the “Happy New Year Fun at Three Museums” bundle ticket can be purchased for NT$200 at the park’s ticket booth and the Planetarium. It provides access to the Children’s Amusement Park, the Planetarium, and the Science Education Museum. This includes a one-day pass to the Children’s Amusement Park, allowing free admission for the day plus unlimited rides on major amusement facilities (one ride per facility, valued at over NT$340); the Planetarium offers access to both the Universe Theater and the 3D Theater (valued at NT$200); the Science Education Museum, which is scheduled to close for exterior renovation starting March 1st, still provides discount vouchers for its permanent exhibitions, the Children’s Exploration Museum, or theaters (excluding the Earthquake Theater).

Additionally, the first phase of the coloring activity, “Creative Coloring, Spin & Win, Snack Pets FUN Winter Vacation,” runs from the 13th to the 31st of this month. Children in grades 1–6 of elementary school can participate for free by first picking up free drawing paper, L-shaped folders, and rainbow pens (available in limited quantities daily) at the park’s visitor center. They can then head to the leisure seating area in front of the visitor center, which has been set up as a dedicated painting zone with cute desk mats for easy coloring. After completing their artwork, participants can submit it at the visitor center to receive a complimentary special token. This token can be used to try the large 240 cm tall crystal tower capsule toy machine once. Prizes in the capsule include game tokens, facility experience vouchers, the 2018 photo calendar, keychains, mouse pads, and more, though winners cannot choose or exchange specific items.

The second phase is a popularity voting contest. From February 1st to 6th, entries will be announced on the Children’s Amusement Park’s Facebook fan page. Voting will take place via Facebook likes, with the deadline at 2:00 PM on the 6th. Winners will be notified to collect their prizes at the Children’s Amusement Park. Prizes include a one-day unlimited ride pass for major amusement facilities in the park, the 2018 photo calendar, and free experience vouchers for smaller amusement facilities, among other great rewards.
