Snow reaches 10 cm deep at Fushoushan Farm—freezing cold transforms it into a northern wonderland overnight

On the morning of the 10th, a thick blanket of white snow fell on Fushoushan Farm, with the highest accumulation reaching 10 cm at Tianchi (Heavenly Lake), and about 5 cm in the tea plantation and camping area. Current temperatures range between -1°C and 0°C, and melting is gradually occurring. Guests staying at the farm were delighted to find it transformed into a northern wonderland overnight, flocking out to see the snow. Some children even braved the cold and happily played in the snow.

Super cold alert: The Fushoushan Farm fan page’s editor went live early in the morning, announcing the arrival of auspicious snow in the camping area in a shaky voice. The snowflakes were mixed with more ice pellets, and there was about 5 cm of snow on the ground. Camping spots were blanketed in white, though no guests had camped there the night before. At an altitude of 2,580 meters, Tianchi accumulated 10 cm of snow. As the sun emerged, temperatures hovered between -1°C and 0°C, and the snow began to melt.

Farm staff reported that as of this morning, snow accumulation near Tianchi, the camping area, and the tea plantation reached approximately 5–10 cm. Due to temperatures not being low enough, the ponds have yet to freeze. Fruit trees and tea plants had already been harvested and pruned, and are now dormant, so the snow has minimal impact on cash crops.
