The Kalishan Tree has gained popularity due to its colorful umbrella alley and umbrella tree, attracting many visitors to take photos. The vibrant and diverse colors add a touch of wonder to this small town in Hemei, Changhua. The surrounding walls of the Kalishan Tree also feature numerous colorful paintings, with each pattern adding splashes of color to the street.

The “umbrella tree” is decorated with many bright and vivid umbrellas, making it a popular spot for tourists to take photos. The building next to the tree is the “Rainbow House,” which not only provides restrooms for visitors but also sells souvenirs such as umbrellas and hanging decorations. The workshop on the second floor even offers umbrella painting activities, ensuring fun for both adults and children.

“Kalishan” is actually the former name of Hemei, which is why this umbrella tree is called the “Kalishan Tree.” The tree also carries another meaning — symbolizing an umbrella of love and everlasting happiness. It hopes that every visitor can experience the feeling of “happiness.”
