GODIVA Lifestyle Flagship Store Opens April 15 – Taiwan’s Only Branch Offering Afternoon Tea

The renowned chocolate brand GODIVA will open its first lifestyle flagship store in the Asia-Pacific region on April 15 in Taipei’s East District. This is the only GODIVA outlet in Taiwan that serves afternoon tea, along with exclusive handmade fresh fruit chocolates and chocolate fondue available only at the lifestyle store.

The lifestyle flagship store, built with a investment of tens of millions of Taiwan dollars, is the first standalone GODIVA store in Taiwan to offer table service. The exterior features a semi-outdoor café seating area, while the interior is designed with GODIVA’s signature colors—gold, white, and deep chocolate brown—to create a rich chocolate ambiance.

The globally exclusive Gold Premium Afternoon Tea Set (NT$1,800), created specifically for GODIVA lifestyle stores, is made with GODIVA’s top-tier chocolate ingredients and comes with two GODIVA-selected drinks. The afternoon tea set is also designed with architectural elements inspired by Belgium, symbolizing GODIVA’s first chocolate shop founded in Brussels. It includes handmade fresh fruit chocolate cups, lemon dark chocolate profiteroles, mango-passionfruit dark chocolate balls, almond-salted dark chocolate cups, and double chocolate ice cream.

Also exclusive to the lifestyle store, the handmade fresh fruit chocolates are made fresh by staff, with small pieces of fruit dipped in GODIVA dark and white chocolate. Their sweet-and-sour flavor and cute, eye-catching cone shape are sure to become popular Instagram dessert spots. Additionally, you can enjoy chocolate fondue here, which includes three seasonal fruits, macarons, and chocolate cookies, along with two drinks.

To celebrate the opening of the GODIVA lifestyle flagship store, GODIVA will distribute thousands of balloons on the streets of the East District on April 15–16 and April 22–23. Redemption coupons inside the balloons can be used to claim a small chocolate gift at the lifestyle store. During the opening period from April 15 to May 14, customers who purchase one handmade fresh fruit chocolate cone and one drink will enjoy a combo discount price.
