Wake up — you're not an influencer. Taichung's viral café sparks photo frenzy

Taipei’s “Chu Mi Coffee,” a café that gained popularity with its super-cute dessert designs, is now available in Taichung. The newly opened Chu Mi Coffee in Taichung First Senior High School area features interior and exterior designs that combine pink tones with geometric minimalism, and the exterior wall is specially decorated with neon lights displaying the phrase “#WakeUpYoureNotAnInfluencer,” which is sure to bring a smile.

Taichung’s Chu Mi Coffee isn’t just dreamily designed inside for great photos — the pinkish-blue door outside, the pink trees in the courtyard, and even its signature healing desserts including Shiba Inu, Totoro, and big-eyed character cakes all show great taste and creativity. It attracted numerous influencers for check-ins right after its soft opening. In addition to the adorable cakes, the shop also offers light meals and pasta.
