Asia's Only Diving Hotel in Taiwan: Dive and Enjoy City Views All in One Go

Located in Taichung, "SubCube Hotel" is Asia's only diving hotel. It caused a sensation upon its opening in 2017. This time, the Power Group has announced a collaboration with global real estate management consultancy JLL, and starting in 2018, it plans to develop Power SubCube hotels in key mainland cities, aiming to establish the world’s top urban diving brand.

With an eye on the water sports market in mainland China, Power and JLL have joined forces. The first phase aims to build six Power SubCube hotels and plan diving-themed exhibitions, hoping to jointly create a standout leisure brand for the Chinese diving ecosystem.

Located in Taichung, the SubCube Hotel has pioneered the urban diving trend in Taiwan. It offers clean, professional, and safe diving experiences for consumers eager to try or passionate about diving. It also provides diving license acquisition services and seascape-related photography, meeting all travel and leisure expectations in one go. It has also become a diving rescue base for the Taichung City Government Fire Bureau.

Unlike traditional sea diving, which requires a license to experience, SubCube’s constant water temperature and safe, convenient environment broaden its target audience from professional divers to general leisure sports enthusiasts.

Stepping into the SubCube Hotel, guests will enjoy a completely unique accommodation experience. It offers ship cabin-style lodging, with thirty rooms designed around the concept of cabins. Six of the room types feature observation windows, offering views of Taichung’s cityscape.
