Many travelers visiting Kansai in Japan drag their luggage from the airport straight to sightseeing in Kyoto. Sensing the needs of tourists, Japan Post has launched a “baggage storage service” at Kyoto Central Post Office, allowing visitors to travel without the burden of dragging their suitcases, thus keeping the joy of travel intact.

This baggage storage service is initially available only at “Kyoto Central Post Office” starting December 1, 2017, with other Japanese post offices not yet offering it. Located near Kyoto Station, Kyoto Central Post Office is a key transportation hub, adding convenience for travelers.

Additionally, besides providing Japanese instructions, the counter is also equipped with instant translation devices for Chinese and English, so language barriers are not a concern—making it very convenient.
