Hehuanshan first experienced ice pellets before transitioning to snowfall. The Wuling parking lot accumulated 2 cm of snow, and both Hehuanshan North Peak and Main Peak are covered in white. It is estimated...The next wave of cold air from the mainland is expected to arriveon Friday, bringing more moisture, and there’s a chance of further snowfall on both Yushan and Hehuanshan over the weekend.

This winter, due to the influence of a warmer season, temperatures had remained relatively high until this cold front brought a noticeable drop. The continental cold air mass arriving this week not only brings low temperatures, but also — thanks to ample moisture — the possibility of snowfall on peaks such as Yushan and Hehuanshan.
