The LED bobo ball is a transparent PVC sphere made in a completely see-through style, paired with LED lights, resembling a glowing translucent balloon. There are also versions printed with various messages, making them considered perfect for love confessions. Some models even include popular cartoon character balloons inside. The price range is around NT$250–300 for these, while transparent versions cost approximately NT$150–200.

LED bobo balls can be found at attractions such as New Taipei City Christmasland and Xinyi District that feature nighttime scenery and Christmas settings. Vendors sell them there, but it’s worth noting that since they are filled with helium or hydrogen, they can explode when exposed to heat. Taiwan Railways and Taiwan High Speed Rail have officially banned bobo balls from being brought into stations, and New Taipei City Christmasland also restricts their entry into event areas. If you plan to take a bobo ball out for photos and fun, please pay attention to the relevant regulations and ensure safe usage.
