1. The moat in Hsinchu City

The Hsinchu City Government has illuminated nearly 1 kilometer of Christmas lights along the city moat. During the day, it's a lush, water-filled park; at night, it transforms into a dazzling river of lights, connected to the 9-meter Christmas tree at the Dongmen City Thanksgiving Festival, making it the most romantic moat in Taiwan. Recently, it has attracted many netizens to stop by, take walks, take photos, and even have dinners with loved ones, prompting people to exclaim, “The romantic atmosphere is incredibly heartwarming!” The happy city is filled with festive cheer.

In addition to setting up a Christmas tree at Dongmen City, the Hsinchu City Government has also illuminated the moat with Christmas lights, while upgrading the existing lighting system. Warm orange-yellow lights paired with shimmering stars on the water create the “most romantic moat in Taiwan.”

2. Christmas Party at Taiwan University of Science and Technology
