Hot Topic: A New Spot at the Container Market. Following the emergence of container markets in Taipei, Tainan, and other areas, Taichung has now created a brand-new "UNO Market," located next to the Taichung Dayeh Takashimaya. With over 30 vendors, including food stalls, creative handmade goods, and numerous installation artworks, it aims to become the largest container market in Taiwan.

Vendors at UNO Market include popular Taichung restaurants such as Yuan Chuan Chuan, GFG Friends Garden, and Light Eel. Additionally, Cousins Maine Lobster — ranked as America’s No. 1 lobster roll restaurant — is opening its first overseas branch here, choosing UNO Market as its debut location. The lobster roll eatery recreates its original founding concept through a container food truck design.
