Here are six stunning flower spots currently in bloom around Taiwan, showcasing a variety of cosmos, begonias, salvias, salvia splendens, and celosia, creating vast and beautiful floral landscapes. The blooming periods extend through the New Year's holiday, making it the perfect time for a flower-viewing getaway.

1. Taipei - Daonan Riverside Park
Two flower fields at Daonan Riverside Park are currently in full bloom, with the best viewing period lasting until mid-January next year. One is located along the embankment trail near Exit 1 of Muzha Metro Station, and the other is about 200 meters upstream from Hengguang Bridge, close to Taipei Zoo and National Chengchi University. Designed with a playful theme, the flower fields use simple lines and nearly 110,000 pots of colorful blooms to create a cute, lively, and scenic landscape, covering a total area of 3,300 square meters.

2. Taipei - Guting Riverside Park
Beneath the elevated platform of the Hakka Cultural Area at Guting Riverside Park, a large flower field has been created, which will remain in bloom until mid-January next year. The design aims to evoke a sense of happiness, using winter flowers such as cosmos, salvia splendens, salvia, begonias, and salvias. With over 80,000 pots of vivid, contrasting seasonal blooms, the field forms a heart-shaped pattern, covering a total area of 2,200 square meters.

3. Taipei - Guandu Flower Sea Festival
The popular IG spot “Guandu Flower Sea Festival” features dwarf double-flowered varieties this year, different from the usual tall, large sunflowers. Golden cosmos and purple angelonia bloom together, creating delightful views across different flower zones.

4. Taichung – Taichung Flower Carpet Festival
The 2017 Flower Carpet Festival was held in Houli Flower Field Green Corridor, with the theme “The Sound of Blooming Flowers.” It incorporated a variety of local flowers, along with elements like the flower expo mascot “The Formosan Clouded Leopard Family” and music. Through a story-driven experience, it created a music garden party led by the leopard family, shaping the image of Taichung as a garden city and attracting tourists from all over to experience the beauty of Taichung.
