On December 26, Mr. Lucky Penguin of Qigu Salt Mountain officially made his grand debut. Combining the concepts of environmental protection and caring guardianship, a two-story-tall, suited, dignified yet chubby and adorable penguin made a glamorous entrance. Standing about six meters tall, he is highly visible against the white salt mountain.

The Qigu Salt Mountain penguin installation art exhibition opens today. The park has set up a penguin-themed sales area and has recently launched exclusive limited-edition penguin plush toys, handmade soaps, postcards, and other merchandise. On the opening day, penguin plush toys were offered at a presale price of NT$599, and limited-edition penguin stamp postcards were given away in large quantities. From the New Year’s holiday to the Lunar New Year, the event is expected to attract a large number of visitors.
