New Secret Tamarisk Spot for Stunning Watercolor-Like Red Forest Scenery

Near the Xintian Mountain Hiking Trail in Tanzi District, Taichung, a new tamarisk secret spot has emerged. The dense and lush tamarisks have turned red, and from a distance, they look like a watercolor painting dyeing part of the forest mountains, creating a spectacular and beautiful sight. This estate is private land, where visitors can admire the layered hues of yellow, green, and red tamarisks from afar. The distribution of hundreds of trees presents a stunning sense of depth.

The Xintian Hiking Trail is a 2-kilometer-long mountain path featuring 1,063 wooden steps, winding along the mountain. In addition to several viewpoints, a special eagle-watching platform has been added to overlook the Fengyuan area. It’s a great spot for both daily and holiday leisure hikes for visitors in the Tanzi and Fengyuan regions.
